Campus Life Third-Person Paragraph

In the mornings Heather wakes up at 6:15 am. She lays in bed for 1o minutes then gets up and takes a shower. After she gets out of the shower she finds clothes to wear to school. Then she goes into the bathroom and puts her make-up on. When she is done with that she fixes her hair to how she wants to wear it for that day. When Heather is finished with that she goes into the living room and eats breakfast. Finally when she is finished with that, she goes to brush her teeth, and picks up her room. On her way out the door she takes her medicine and is off to school.

Third Quarter Awards Review

On Friday I did not attend the award ceremony. I had to a dentist appointment from my previous wisdom extraction on Monday. I never like attending the awards ceremony because there are too many kids in the auditorium for me. When I am around alot of kids I tend to have panic attacks. Instead I sit in the office and finish things that need to be done or read. I would like to go only so I could support my friends for they're wonderful achievements. I don't like to recieve awards because I get embarrassed that everybody knows I have knowledge. I will try my best to attend the 4th quarter assembly.

“Animal Farm” Revolution at SPA

It was a friday night when all the kids on campus were expected to be in the gym for a cofidential meeting. As Morgan walked into the gym she noticed there was no staff and a whole bunch of kids. Sherlene had managed to steal the keys from the office when no one was around. " Everybody sit down and pay attention!" she demanded. As everyone started to sit down Sherlene starts to talk.
" We all know that these staff get on our nerves, right? So how about we plan revenge!" Sherlene yelled. " I have an idea that seems fun." Nicholas replied. So Sherlene took notes on the idea that he had given her. Sherlene shared the idea with the group and everybody agreed. " So everyone's up for AWOLing tonight. Everybody meet back in the gym at 7:45pm and we will leave from there."
It was 7:45pm and everybody on campus was in the gym getting ready to have a blast. All the staff on campus were directed to follow the students like as if they were up to something. The kids huddled into a group, counted to 10, and ran everywhere even into the orange groves. The staff were heated that they had to stop what they were doing to chase kids.

San Pasqual Academy Dragons Symbolism

The mascot of San Pasqual Academy is a dragon. Just as dragons are a unique creature because they breathe fire so are the students of San Pasqual. Being foster kids, we come from unique backgrounds. Dragons are looked at as strong because they learn to face their fears just as we have learned to do. Dragons have a hard exterior but can be tamed. At San Pasqual Academy most kids are mean when they arrive, but once they settle in they tend to let their guard down. To be a SPA dragon means you are tough, unique and eventually learn to trust.

"SPA Theme Song."

"Make It Shine" by Victorious Cast

Here I am
Once again
Feeling lost but now and then

I breathe it in
To let it go

And you don't know where you are now
Or what it would come to
If only somebody could hear

When you figure out how
Your lost in the moment
You disappear

(Chorus)
You don't have to be afraid
To put your dream in action
Your never gonna fade
You'll be the main attraction

Not a fantasy
Just remember me
When it turns out right

Cause you know that if you live in
Your imagination
Tomorrow you'll
Be everybody's fascination

In my victory
Just remember me
When I make it shine

This song represents San Pasqual because it's basically saying that people are going to have bad days and then good days. SPA represents a place where foster youth receive more opportunities than they may get somewhere else. "You don't have to be afraid to put your dreams in action" basically states that youth could do whatever they want to do in life. " Just remember me when I make it shine," to me means that kids could graduate from here and be successful, and the kids who didn't are going to remember the ones that used all the opportunities that SPA gave. This song is indicative of the way I perceive San Pasqual.
