Google Moderator Questions & Answers
I think that people do set very high expectations for themselves that are unrealistic. I think this because what you say and what you do are completely two different things. Anything can go wrong in the process of achieving your goals. You could think that it's so easy and then when you do it; you might give up because you think that it is way to hard. I just think you should start off with something simple that you know you can achieve.

Sophomore Paragraph
To be a sophomore means to start acting like mature adults because were not freshmen's anymore. We need to start having respect, following, and listening to the teacher's directions as they talk instead of acting like fools. In order to get anywhere we need to start doing homework and doing all of our classwork instead of disrupting our fellow peers when they are trying to talk. As a whole I think that we need to all start acting mature for our age.

SPA Poem
When teenagers act like little kids and play childish games
Kids tend to start a rage
And they wonder why they have to explain
Kids try to act cool to fit in
When really they're only making themselves look like a fool
Sometimes involving tripping kids with their shoes
This campus is ridiculous and not okay
A lot of things need to change
A lot of things need to change
Especially the way people percieve things

Free choice Blog Post
Lately for the past month or so I haven't been able to stay asleep. I take Lexapro at bedtime so I fall asleep early and hope that it keeps me asleep; but it doesn't. I wake up at several different times, 12am, 2am, 4am. It frustrates me because I have to wake up and get ready for school and by that time I am already tired. I want to see if the doctor can give me some kind of medicine that helps me stay asleep. I also want to wake up in a happy mood instead of grumpy because I love my sleep.

Memorable Valentine's Day
My most memorable Valentine's day was when I was in 5th grade. I remember everyone was passing out cards and candy to all of their friends. I liked this boy and he gave me a card that said "I love you, will you be mine?" and my heart dropped. I was so happy because I though he actually might have liked me. He also gave me more candy than all of the other people he was giving it out to. I was so happy/giggly for the rest of the day. There's no way that I could have forgotten this Valentine's day.

"I am Offering This Poem" by Jimmy Santiago Baca / Homework
The smile on my face
The way my heart always seems to race
It's all done by your warm embrace
Iv'e never trusted before
And I really don't want to be hurt anymore
You might even struggle finding me heart
Behind a locked door
I love how your here
Even if it's just for a day
The way my smile seems to creep on my face

"I am Offering This Poem" by Jimmy Santiago Baca / Classwork
The emotion that "I am Offering This Poem" by Jimmy Santiago Baca expresses is love and that all you need is a relationship that has to do is eachother and support. For example, in this story he tells her that all he can offer is a pot full of yellow corn. This shows that a person that loves you will only give you what you need and to satisfy you. In addition, the man has true feelings for this woman and will offer all he has to keep her. This shows that love is peaceful and romantic but not a fantasy. That's why the emotion of this poem was strong to him and was written to her.

"Remember" Reflection paragraph
I enjoyed teaching the class the lesson Yaya and I had created. There were some kids that weren't on task, but that seems to be a normal routine for them. I was nervous at first, but once I started talking I felt more comfortable. Im glad that I got to teach because it gave me a chance to experience of being a real teacher. I'm very impressed with Chanda's productivity in class today. She was on task, focused, and was also the first one to finish her work.

"Heart! We will forget him!" Paragraph
In the poem "Heart! We will forget him!" the speaker in the poem speaks directly to her heart as if it were another person, a possible reason she talks to her heart seperately could be that she perhaps wanted to act as if her heart was a therapist. The thing that could have caused her to be heartbroken is her boyfriend could have cheated on her or physically, emotionally or verbally abused her. Personification is when you talk about a non-living thing and act as if it were human. Using personification toward her heart helped her to cope by talking it out to heart as if it were a person that was listening to her while she was spiiling how she felt. One way I can relate to this poem is talking to myself instead of someone else.
"Same Song" Paragraph
I honestly have never changed the way I looked for any reason nor anybody. I have never had a reason to change my apperance. I like wearing make-up but thats only because I like how it makes my eyes look. I wouldn't want to change because now a days theres a lot of people that change so they can " fit in" and be accepted. Like people say " I'd rather be hated for who I am then loved for who im not." I feel good that I am still the same way and I don't plan on changing.

Paragraph to Persuade You to Read My Poem
The name of my poem is "Remember" by Joy Harjo. I think people should read this poem because it talks a lot about life and most people don't cherish it. Some one may not want to read this poem because it may be to difficult understand and find it boring. They should read it because it inspires what life is really about. The best part about this poem is when it says the different colors of earth. It states that all of the colors represent the different type of people in this world.

Imagery in a Selected Poem Paragraph
The imagery mood of " Cherry Blossoms Adrift" by Mary O. fumento creates peace and tranquil. " Pink petals passing, Scent above so high, Painted porcelien perfection, Blossoms caress the sky" is an example of sight and smell. This creates a peacful image feeling. Another example, " Pink petals passing, Smoothest transit by, Soft essence floating, In most subtle lullaby"the senses would be sight and hearing. This image creates a light as a feather feeling. A final example of " Pastel hues falling, Slow fluttering grace, Pink petals passing, Lining streams in lace" the senses would be sight sand hearing. This image creates a calm and in my own world feeling. The use of imagery helps to express feelings when we see an image how it affects our emotions and also is a hidden matter.
