“Through the Tunnel” by Doris Lessing would be different if it were told from the first-person point of view because it would have more emotion to it. If Jerry were to tell the story, we would have had more detail of what he experienced and how he felt about the situation. Since it was third person limited we didn't really as much as we wanted to know about Jerry. Coming form they boys point of view, we would understand more why he dove off the cliff into the tunnel.
